neglected.

So the last few posts that I did on my kids at school have only been my youngest ones, the knuffle bunnies. I have been neglecting to show you my older classes. I only have pictures of my 'main' elementary class. This year at my school, we started a new program: Elementary After School Program. So there aren't that many kids to start off with because its a new program. I mainly teach the level 2 class which for a month only consist of two girls, Lisa and Lucy. It was pretty easy going because they were best friends and they were very smart. They helped each other out when the other was stuck on something...it was awesome. And recently, I got a third student. Her name is Julie. It was a little hard at first because the girls and I already had such a strong bond...but things are definitely getting better. I teach these girls Language, Knowledge and Grammar. They are so much fun to work with...and with three girls its easier to play educational games like hopscotch...hahaha (I'll have to show you a picture...). I hate to say it but I am able to be a little more 'girly' with them. I can do things that I know the girls will love because they are girls...Oh well...!

The original two! Lisa and Lucy.

Julie, my new girl.

I also teach Grammar and Vocabulary to Levels 3 & 6. I don't have any pictures yet...but i will definitely take some soon. I realized that I dont have a lot of time in these two classes because I am teaching such boring but important subjects. Most of the time the kids need help with things so I am not able to take out my camera to snap some pics. But I will soon! PROMISE.

In other news, I am getting 3 new students in my Knuffle Bunny class making it a solid 10 kids. I cannot wait. I am so in love with all of them.... Today as I was getting ready for class they started singing out school song in English and I almost cried cause it was soo darn cute. I have already started seeing so much improvement with all the kids in the class. They are also opening up a lot more. They are always kissing and hugging...its soo cute.

Tomorrow I will be hosting my first birthday party...hahaha I am very nervous but very excited at the same time. Wish me luck!

xoxo carmy.

Oh! Today...a boy stuck a bean up his nose and had to go to the hospital to get it removed. I know its evil to be laughing at this...but it was so funny. He has many explanations as to how this happened...a) he was smelling the bean and it just got sucked in and b) he fell and the bean happened to fall and shove right into his nostril.
...i dont know what it is...but kids just love sticking things up their nose...fingers, beans, pencils....basically anything in site...

hahaha okay. bye.
