gadgets.

this post is to show you all the cool things i have purchased since ive moved to Korea. Im trying not to buy so many household items, only the ones that are absolutely necessary. I am also trying to lay low on the clothes, shoes, purses, and random stuff... this is what i have accumulated in the last four months...

my toaster oven. its pretty cute right? haha this little thing cost me about 17, 000 won meaning less than 17 bucks! I love this little thing! Its perfect for making toast, croutons, or just heating anything up quickly. The little pictures near the nob make me the happiest. there toast (2-4 mins), a hot dog (3-5 mins), pizza(5-8 mins), and rice cake (3-5 mins). Rice cake is a traditional korean snack. hehe love this little thing.

my humidifier. i bought this off of someone who was leaving gyoha. it did me good in the winter when it was so dry...actually my skin wasn't as dry, which was amazing. I think im going to have to invest in one of these when i go back to Ottawa...this is what i was missing in my life... anyways, the steam comes out of the little slots above his eyes and if i keep the steam at a good setting...it could run all night.

my phone. i only have a cell phone here in korea, its really all i need. But the phone i got definitely is korean-fied. Look at the dialing screen that you could (and i did) set it on. Its pretty amazing. i love it. if you can't tell, its all snack items. banana, sausages, donuts, candy, candy cane, sushi, donut again, gingerbread cookie, limes, cappuccino and biscutti, and so on... i miss my blackberry so much...but this kind of makes up for it...KIND OF.
my polaroid camera. although this isn't legit 'polaroid' it does the same thing. this little thing is made by Fujifilm and i absolutely love it. It reminds me of joycams and izones...but better! I bought this with the money that we received from sports day! the camera itself was about 60, 000 won (which is less then 60 bucks) and the film is about 8, 000 won for ten pictures (less than 8 bucks). It was a fun purchase, and im loving it. check out the hello kitty film... makes me smile.

these were just some of the fun things that i have purchased...i have also gotten some pretty fun clothes and shoes which i cant wait to bust out in Canada. I also cant wait to use my new purse...sai got me a new purse for my collection but its not really suitable for korea. I cant wait to be able to embrace and mad handle my new baby.

anyways, thats it for now.

xoxo carmy.
